Lesson 16

Click to play Lesson 16

2 consonants that work happily together to make a special sound are called consonant digraphs.

s and h together = sh

p and h together = ph

q needs u so they have a special sound together = qu                         q is a consonant and u is a vowel)

To Kenneth words, we colour the vowels green (Columns 2 and 3) and the consonant digraphs magenta (Column 3).

Josh has a capital letter because it is the name of a person.
